Custom Price Calculator Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Apippa LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information when merchants install or use the Custom Price Calculator Shopify app (the “App”), and when shoppers use a calculator on a merchant’s store.

Information we collect

Store and account information that Shopify shares when you install the App, such as your store name, contact details, and plan.
Store data the App needs to work, based on the permissions you approve at install, such as products, theme settings, and order information.
Content you create in the App, such as calculator setups, price tables, and uploaded images.
Shopper inputs on your storefront, such as calculator selections and any files a shopper uploads.
Usage and technical information, such as how you use the App, device, browser, and performance data.
Messages you send us, including support chats and conversations with our AI features.

We do not collect or store payment card details. Payments are handled by Shopify.

How we use it

To provide, support, secure, and improve the App; to communicate with you about the App (you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time); and to meet legal obligations.

AI features

Some features, such as our calculator-building assistant and support chat, use AI services from third-party providers. What you type and relevant App content are sent to those providers to generate a response. We don’t sell this content or use it to train our own AI models. AI responses can be wrong, so please review them before publishing, and avoid entering sensitive personal information.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only:

with service providers who help us run the App, such as hosting, storage, analytics, email, customer support, and AI providers;
with Shopify, as needed to operate the App;
when required by law or to protect our rights; and
as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.

Shopper information

For information about shoppers on a merchant’s store, the merchant is responsible for their own privacy practices, and we process that information on the merchant’s behalf.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business or legal purposes, and then delete or anonymise it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Contact us to make a request. Shoppers should contact the merchant first.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
